The above image shows the feeding culture and the living flies as they
are packed and shipped to you
separate from the culture, which consists of feeding media inside a 32oz container with vinyl perching mesh. Upon arrival,
pour 25-50 individuals into the culture. The rest of the hundreds of flies are ready to be used. After two weeks, the melanogaster in the culture
will begin producing hundreds of offspring for up to a month or more.
The image below shows about the count you will receive (500 - 700). This is the same count of flies you will receive
with each order of either "Flies Only," "Flies with Culture," or our Various Size Kits.
